We invite you to take part in the “Give Me Shelter” Campaign for Children this year to help support the Callen-Lacey Center for Children, where we provide a safe place for the youngest victims of abuse and neglect.
Though you’ve missed this year’s kick off event — an awesome Oyster Roast called Shuckin’ for Shelter that’s held in Crowfield Golf & Country Club — it’s not too late to support our work! The Campaign for Children continues throughout the year. The campaign will also include the annual “Give Me Shelter” Dinner and Auction later this Spring.

There were 810 cases of reported physical, sexual and emotional abuse documented in Berkeley County each year.
There were 707 children in Berkeley County involved in substantiated cases of abuse and neglect.
